Beauty and The Beast which leads me to The Third Kingdom [Omen Machine Sequel]

So I was sure I had written a post about this like two months ago, but with starting Uni this semester and the general confusion that is my life I’ve apparently failed to do so.

You see there is this new show with Lana Lang from Smallville (which I use to watch obsessively but gave up on in the end, the show not Lana Lang) called Beauty and the Beast(come on I know you’ve heard of it.) It’s supposedly a re-make of a 80’s show but my friend who has seen the original tells me they are nothing alike. But that’s not really the point. We will be getting to the point after a little show and tell.

This is the poster for the show!

This is a capture from one of the more recent episodes! Anyone recognize her?

That’s Bridget Regan of the Sword of Truth series where she be Kahlan Amnell – Mother Confessor extraordinary!

Recognize her now?

(I know the dark hair was much cuter than the red and her boobies look way good in this pic. But never mind, moving on, getting to the point in this decade…)

Okay so this is what I thought I had written. I just watched Bridget Regan from Sword of Truth in this new CW series and it made me remember there was a new Terry Goodkind/ Richard & Kahlan novel out. I mean The Omen Machine but remembering that I thought – “that was quite a while ago.” Like summer of 2011.

So I’m thinking there should be a new one out or at least a date for when it will be released but I found nothing. Then when I re-checked things so I’d be able to say I had just checked – I found that there is actually a new book coming this summer called THE THIRD KINGDOM. It’s the sequel to The Omen Machine!

So I had to get up and do a happy little dance.

I mean Wizard’s First Rule is one of my absolute favorite books in the world. Some people hate Goodkind’s work and think Richard/Kahlan’s love story is super cliche and all that but I adore R/K and Goodkind is a truly fantastic writer. I love his world, I love the Mord’Sith, the magic, the plotting he does, how it all ties so neatly together. I wish I could do that. Also -did I mention I love Richard and Kahlan (and Nicci.) They are like old friends.

So just wanted to tell you all – I can’t wait forĀ August 6th!
